I was sitting with a few colleagues the other day who all confessed to me that they didn’t know how to cook. Not in the “I-can’t-cook-Peking-Duck” kind of way but more of a “I-can’t-cook-eggs” admission to cooking. Some were nonchalant. Others embarrassed. But all similarly wanted to learn but felt too novice and old to ask.
Now, I am no iron chef by any means, but I see a fantastic opportunity here to help others.
So, in the spirit of life long learning and cooking (regardless of age or level) I have decided to post recipes here that really break down cooking basics. These blog posts will be clearly entitled “Cooking Basics” so that they are easily identifiable.
