NYC Food Tip: Agora

Nestled between a Mexican restaurant and a Japanese restaurant on bustling Second Ave, this cozy little UES Turkish restaurant is easy to miss.  But, if you’re lucky enough to see it – you won’t regret a single bite.

The interesting art coupled with exotic music makes sitting in the cramped seating (in true NYC fashion) a delight. Delicious traditional Turkish cuisine takes the stage, however, with a variety of the lamb, beef, chicken, fresh salads and desserts to choose from.  I highly recommend ordering it all – it’s BYOB so you’ll have some extra cash to play with!

Below was the dish I ordered:

Grilled Lamb Cubes served with a delightfully sour cabbage and beet salad and served with a spicy grilled pepper. It was perfection!
